I designed a bright visual system for the Take Care membership, a subscription campaign for Womanly Magazine. The colorful radiance reflects community and care, and the simple type approach has accessibility in mind to serve Womanly’s diverse audience.
The blackletter font and visuals of strong femmes add a graphic edge that evokes the sentiment of Audre Lorde which drove this campaign: “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
